do u think it is worth buying a heat sink for the tail rotor, i heard they get overworked in hovering.

at first I thought the heat sinks were more of a cosmetic add on rather then actually working, but they really do help to dissapate the heat, not really sure you’d have to worry about overheating though, unless you start using a larger battery.

is honey bee fp and honey bee 004 the same helicopter?

yeah, the only difference you will see between the HBFP’s are there is a version that comes with a LiPo (its something that the company selling it does, not ESky) but apart from that all the HBFP’s are the same, unless it says HBCP or CP2, its a collective pitch version of the HBFP, worthless too. If you decide you want a CP go with a HBK II (HoneyBee King V2) much better and bigger, but I still like the HBFP to start on.

hi marc ignore my last comment i fixed the problem by just sticking the stock blade grip back on. i spose those metal upgrades ruined the setup

how much room do u need to hover the heli easily?

I learned to hover in a 7ft by 7ft room. The room you see in alot of my videos. But I also had access to this really large room too. The bigger the room inside the faster you will figure out how to hover the heli. But learning in a small space will develop your skills more.

However, I have not managed to lift it off the ground yet. I have tried both indoors in my small living room and outdoors, with no success. It is very hard to keep it staight, immediately after it takes off, and it also feels that it doesn’t have enough power to lift high enough. Is that normal for a beginner, or do you thing there is something wrong with my motor or something.

Being the beginner that I am, I am not sure whether I am doing something wrong, or there is a problem with my helicopter. Marc, is there a chance you could help me out here, with a video explaining how to lift off properly?
