Another tip for you is when you switch on the transmitter with the throttle and trimmer in the full down positions and the motor or swash plate do not work” switch off the transmitter for a few seconds with the battery still connected and it should be paired up when you hear the whistling noise and the red l.e.d light is glowing solid and not blinking at a fast rate again hope this helps you.

Awesome flying … wish i had the skills.
I have the same heli, but for me it is better to practice with my DF04 & Honerbee…….great video.

Hey i got my 4#3b without much research and only experience flying those super micro indestructible foam heli’s which i got good at. But this i have discovered is much harder!! i can get up for short periods before i loose most of my control any tips? also at take off it just wants to go left….

All 4#3’s want to go to the left, once you’re up in the air it’s ok though.
It may take you weeks or even months to master this little bird. You might want to read the lessons in Radd’s school of rotary flight (google for it), they did help me.
When you crash, cut the throttle immediately.

buy a cheap helisim , esky sell them if u have 20 bucks 2 spare its a bargain instead of buying spareparts or even better practise with a lama v3 then u get the sim 4 free included free of charge

I just got one today, Amazingly small.
Having no experience with RC heli’s my flight time is up from 1 second to about 8 lol.
Takes a lot of practice I see.
Already I have had to tighten the tiny screws in the head as they were very loose, repaired a broken wire to the tail motor as it broke in a crash, and the tail boom is coming loose which I will reinforce with a piece of old bank card and superglue. The design of it where the boom fits the chassis is not strong.
Great little thing though.

Yea, great heli. I’m still having a lot of fun with it: training backward flight now.
Crashes in backward flight cause more damage, but usually it’s not severe. The tail knighthead is missing since I started practicing. I broke the tail boom once and trashed a bearing in the tail, but that was all easy and cheap to fix.
Once my backward flight figure eights are perfect I’ll post a video of that

It uses four channels, but that’s not really interesting I think. More importantly: can you solder? Do you like tinkering? Do you have the patience to train for weeks? Can you get replacement parts easily? You should think about that before buying one.

The mCX without question. Virtually anyone can fly the mCX, the Walkera needs skill!

Im wondering if I should get an MCX or the 4#3. I own a t-rex 450 know what im doing and want to fly indoors. I dont need any training and know how to fly helicopters. I want something that will perform but at the same time is smooth. i can make modifications but would rather not.

I’ve one co axial heli -a micro mosquito- and it’s quite boring. I think I would go for a 4#3B BL.

I have one of these, and you know how when you trim it to make it stable when your hovering and things like that. Do you have to re-trim yours every time because when i fly it again with everything the same its not stable? So i have to trim it every flight, its kinda annoying. Thanks

I have to re-trim the rudder frequently, even during flight. What I usually do is: connect the battery, let is be for 2 minutes and then reconnect to battery to reset the 4-in-1. The gyro is now warmed up and more stable. But as the voltage of the lipo drops, I have to trim rudder to the right.
Occasionally I have to re-trim aileron and elevator. That’s usually after adjusting the paddles or when I move the COG.

yea i reckon im getting the hand of it. It doesnt take all that long now but i have to trim the rudder during flight about every 20 seconds. i think it might be because i got some fluff stuck in the tail rotor and its not working as well as it could. I got i out though… anyway do you think i might need a new one???
elubb
15. May, 2009
Yes, you need a new one. And you can send the old and broken one to me :p
Maybe you need to replace the tail motor? Do you need to trim all the way to the right? I need to replace it after 50+ flights.

all the way to the left…

Just reconnect the battery then. And maybe you should replace the main motor, since the tail is getting too strong for the main.

chopperds are inherently unstable. It’s very difficult to get it trimmed so it will stay that way, especially one that weight this little and is so small.
Try flying it in your school gym where there’s very little wind, but lots of room.

realy? i need one? i got the first one that they made and it sucked the battery will get shot if you over charge it by like 5 sec. and the tail moter is not strong enough so it alwase turns in one direction.
